Who We Are

The ProudlyHuman™ platform is operated by 23 First Corporation trading as Proudly Human (“we”, “us”, “our”). This policy explains what personal information we collect when you create an account, submit a work for certification, or interact with our services.

What We Collect

• Account details: your name and email address. That’s the only personal information we store directly on our systems.
• Submissions: the works you upload for certification (manuscripts, audio files, etc.) and the metadata you provide about them (title, authorship, publication details).
• Certification records: the outcome of each application and any associated certificate information.

We do not collect or store payment card details, government ID documents, biometric data, browsing analytics, location, or device fingerprints.

Service Providers We Use

A small number of trusted providers process information on our behalf:

• Auth0 (Okta): manages account login, password storage and authentication.
• Stripe: processes all payments. We never see or store your full card number, CVC or bank details. Stripe holds payment information under its own privacy policy.
• Resend: sends transactional and marketing email on our behalf.
• Cloud hosting: our application data is hosted with reputable cloud providers within encrypted, access-controlled environments.

Marketing Email

When you create an account, we add you to the Proudly Human mailing list so we can keep you up to date with product news, certification information and stories from the community.

Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time and we will continue to deliver only the transactional emails needed to operate your account.

Your Rights

You can request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Email support@23first.org and we will action your request within a reasonable timeframe.

We retain your account and certification records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards so that issued certificates remain verifiable.

Security

All communication with our services is encrypted in transit. Stored data is encrypted at rest. Access to personal information is restricted to authorised Proudly Human staff who need it to operate the service.

Changes to This Policy

We will update the date at the top of this page when this policy changes. For material changes that affect how we handle your information, we will also notify account holders by email.
